Redefining the Strip: Jami Rodman Joins Duck Duck Shed 2026

Jami Rodman, founder of Las Vegas Guided Tours and author of The Las Vegas Madam, is joining the speaker lineup for Duck Duck Shed 2026 — a weekend of talks, tours, and panels exploring the history, architecture, and culture of Las Vegas, presented in partnership with The Neon Museum.
Her session, "Redefining the Strip: The Las Vegas Madam in Conversation," takes place Sunday, October 25 at 4 p.m. at the California Hotel & Casino's Pikake Room, 2nd floor. Tickets are $29, and copies of The Las Vegas Madam will be available for purchase at the event, with a signing immediately following the discussion.
From Oregon to Las Vegas's #1 escort agency
The conversation traces Jami's path from growing up in Oregon to building and running what became Las Vegas's #1 escort agency — a journey she describes, in her own words, as "anything but conventional."
"I'd like to invite you to join me for a candid conversation about my journey — and the stories that shaped it. From growing up in Oregon to building and running Las Vegas's #1 escort agency, my path has been anything but conventional. This discussion offers an unfiltered look at ambition, power, and survival in a city defined by reinvention."
The moderated discussion will get into what it actually took to build a high-end enterprise in the shadows, the realities of companionship-for-hire, and the people behind closed doors who shaped that world. It's the same ground covered in The Las Vegas Madam, which Robin Leach called a "shockingly honest and unforgettable memoir."
Still uncovering Las Vegas's hidden history
The book was only the beginning. Today, Jami's work is focused on researching and sharing the histories of Las Vegas that don't make it into the postcard version of the city — including the historic red light district and the broader stories of companionship-for-hire that remain part of the city's narrative, work that also shapes the immersive tours and live experiences offered through Las Vegas Guided Tours.
"Today, my work focuses on researching and sharing the overlooked histories of Las Vegas — from the historic red light district to the broader narratives that continue to define the city. I'm looking forward to sharing these stories with you." Jami Rodman
